People have said that I seemed a bit ‘shy’ when they first got to know me. With the  name ‘Shai’, does not help either. But one thing that they will say to me after knowing me well enough is that they are themselves when they are with me. I am not the judgmental type. I don’t look at your background, colour and creed. And I am not the type that mind other people’s business, unless help was asked. As a Cancerian, maybe I do project that ‘motherly’ or ‘fatherly’ nature. Sigh. That is just me.

Family Phase

I grew up in a quite conservative family, where the elders are respected. Being the eldest son, I have 2 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers that look up to me. You can consider me more of a family man. A bit of a ‘mummy’s boy’. Now that I have a family of my own, that I realized the whole picture.

Being in a loving but strict family had influenced and helped  nurture my inner discipline; to achieve any desired goals set by myself. NOT OTHERS. BUT MYSELF. Will get back to that when doing my goal setting program.

Education Phase

I have always loved Maths and Science since I was a kid. I am fascinated by it. You can call me a nerd, and I don’t care at all. Especially maths, because it is black and white. It is precise. 1 + 1 = 2. Simple. Direct. No hidden agendas.

I have also the heart for the arts. Any kind. All the three combined led me to pursue Architecture for my tertiary education.  When working as an architect, I realized that the arts, maths and science can’t really marry without any structure that holds them together. There are methods, orders and rules to abide to. I traveled far to gain priceless experience. These qualities I carry through to my next phase.

Fitness Phase

From my primary school, I have involved myself with the martial arts; Taekwondo and Judo, partly because I am not that athletic. I can’t kick the ball well to save my life. So I stuck with martial arts well into my 20s, until work and other commitments put a limit to my further involvement in the martial arts scene.

During those times when I was a bit too obsessed with the martial arts, I did calisthenics when it was not even the buzz. After uni, all fitness endeavors actually stopped, except the occasional gym or running sessions, but nothing serious and structured. There, the word again. STRUCTURE.

My ‘Fitness Phase’ took a turn, or took a BIG JUMP START after my 1st son was born in December 2012. In March 2013, I decided to change myself for the better. I was 37 in 2013. I don’t want to be 40 and not fit to chase after my son then. So with that in mind, my maturity over the years, my passion of the arts, science and maths, and most importantly the structure that binds them all, I have undergone the transformation process. Within 1 1/2 years, I transformed to a better, stronger, faster me. All done natural. I am not competing, so why the need to shoot myself with liquid in the gluteus maximus, right.

My passion has always been to help others.  With this page I am finally able to do that to anyone and everyone who wants it.  We always want new ideas, new plans, new ways to challenge ourselves.  THAT’S WHAT I OFFER YOU!  I will give you all the ingredients you need to make the change, and with it WE can take every step together!  I can’t walk the steps for you, but I’ll be damned if we can’t take the journey side by side!

  1. Hai…im trying to lose weight and gain muscle but im not sure what to do….my mass is 150kg age 16 and i really do need to lose some of the fats and gain muscle…i really hope that u can help me with the meal plan and exercise routine…
